swimming around my close confines

my nose pressed against the glass

ive searched my prison a million times

no hope for escape

i breathe in the water

though i know im drowning

i stop my struggling

and rest on shiny rocks

i see others walking around freely

happy in their own decay

they're eyes never quite see mine

and then they walk away
